I'll be really anxious to hear more about this. It's hard to believe that 3 grown women at some point can't overpower a guy or guys or scream loud enough for someone to hear. "Stockholm Syndrome" comes to my mind.....

No- a knife might not have worked. If I were in a similar situation, I hope I'd take my chances fighting back if the guy only had a knife. There would be a chance to come through it. A loaded gun pointed at me is a whole other thing.

All these comments really show is how starved America is for any bit of good news or to appoint a new "hero". . And the Today show can't snap it up fast enough, as if the very thought of someone doing something good for someone else is a concept we just can't believe.
